The Board of Directors meet four times a year or at the discretion of the board and/or President with proper notice. At Benny's Books, our number one core value is transparency. If you would like to sit in on a meeting, please email us at info@bennysbooks.org. After the first year, Benny's Books will keep all financial statements, bylaws, and evaluations open to the public*.
JOE ROBLES JRAn Air Force Veteran, Joe Robles Jr graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts in 2013 and a Juris Doctor's degree from Texas A&M University in 2018. The Great Pablo P.I. is his first major project aimed at creating major characters of Hispanic descent in order to create more diversity and cultural awareness in the United States. Proceeds Joe makes from this series will be donated to Benny's Books, a nonprofit tax-exempt corporation Joe established right after law school.

CIELO FORTIN CAMACHOBorn in Chicoutimi, Quebec to a Mexican mother and French father, Cielo, an attorney licensed in the State of Texas, brings with her a plethora of experience in international, political, and global affairs. Alumni of Concordia University in Montreal, Canada; Cielo has studied abroad and has worked in China and Montreal in legal and administrative matters. Cielo also fluently speaks four different languages (French, English, Spanish, and Mandarin)! In addition to her role with Benny's Books, Cielo practices in immigrant law for KIND (Kids In Need of Defense).

STUART CAMPBELLLocal to the DFW area having grown up in Plano, Texas, and attended Grapevine High School. Stuart is a tireless advocate and true servant leader, providing legal representation to clients who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford the services of an attorney. Stuart primarily represent clients with income up to 125% of the U.S. poverty line, and defends those in any civil matter. Stuart was President of his ACS chapter at Texas A&M University School of Law where he took the chapter to unprecedented heights.

CLARISSA CANDIABorn and raised in Dallas, Texas; Clarissa attended Skyline High School and then The Irma Lerma Rangel Young Women's Leadership School, renowned for its challenging coursework and high college matriculation rate. After high school, Clarissa went to community college where she transferred to University of Baltimore to get her bachelors degree. Clarissa is a growing leader in her community, having served on numerous civil rights organizations and helped transform the DFW Chapters of LULAC.

MARY MONTGOMERYMary grew up in the Mesquite area and is a graduate of North Mesquite High School having been a high school athlete in boxing, golf, and basketball. Mary started her career in commercial property, working her way up from secretary to property management. After ten years of property management, Mary decided to focus her efforts on entrepreneurship. Currently, Mary is establishing her own LLC in invitation design, working with artists around the DFW area to create an innovative approach to traditional invitations.
